Shop local…BDG’s favorites!
As a self-professed Shopaholic, I try to support local businesses when possible. For example, in the OOTD pictured, the BB Dakota top, Ark & Co. pants, and jewelry are all from my two favorite local boutiques: Bella Jules in West Reading and Sorrelli Jewelry in Kutztown. If you haven’t been to these fabulous boutiques and live in Berks County, PA, you must give them a visit! Bella Jules carries a variety of contemporary designer labels for every occasion: from stylish professional women’s wear, to casual designer denim brands, and a vast selection of cocktail and formal gowns. Bella Jules is a must stop for any local fashionista.
No BDG outfit would be complete with out the sparkling baubles from Sorrelli jewelry. The Flagship Sorrelli Store located in Kutztown features the latest and greatest that the high-end costume jewelry brand has to offer. Sorrelli jewelry adds that WOW factor to any outfit, and it’s a must stop for any shopaholic
Trendy Tuesday: A Little Puppy Love
For this month’s Trendy Tuesday, I just could not resist showing off this adorable graphic tee! I know BDG is a cat lover to the max, but this little English bulldog puppy is just about as cute as it gets. The graphic tee trend is so fun and easy to work into your spring and summer wardrobe. Paired here with a flirty skirt, the tee adds a playful punch to an otherwise polished outfit. I picked up mine on an impulse at Marshall’s for about $15, and I have already found so many ways to work it. And if you happened to notice–yes, those are rhinestones on this little pup’s nose and eyes. Adorable and fabulous, can’t beat it.

Trendy Tuesday: Spotted

Coat: ASOS. Top: Central Park West (old). Jeans: Forever21. Booties: Express (old). Bag: wellesley quinn by kate spade new york. Watch: Michael Kors. Jewels: Sorrelli (here, here and here).
Don’t get me wrong, I’m just as ready for warm spring weather as the next gal. But my latest purchase has me so thankful for the company of the lingering winter chill. All season I had been searching for a leopard print coat to punch up my winter wardrobe. Recently, while reading an article online, I came across a link to this ASOS coat–on sale for just $35! While winter has officially left us, I plan to get a few more wears out of this fun statement piece. Worn here with pops of cobalt blue and chartreuse, the faux fur works great for transitioning to spring.
