Mathieu Mirano F/W 2014…

Mathieu Mirano’s Fall 2014 collection was powerful and evocative with an emphasis on feminine silhouettes. Mirano said that he was inspired by “sexuality mixed with traditional. ” So what exactly does he mean? In simple terms, he crossed the, “addicted to love, Robert Palmer girls, with Mugler’s supermodels of the 1990’s.    IMG_1567 images IMG_1577 Mirano’s collection was modern and edgy. He incorporated body conscious silhouettes with classic bondage styling details. The color black dominated the first half of the show with a variety of fabrics including bonded leather, suede, and neoprene. The standout piece of the collection is the motorcycle jacket designed in a myriad of styles and fabrics, throughout the collection.
