MAXImize You’re Style…

The days are growing longer and warmer as we approach the middle of May. However, with warmer weather comes a variety of other challenges, such as intimidating wardrobe options, after months of zero exposure to the sun. What do I mean? Well, if you are anything like me, you have not had a chance to prep your skin for sleeveless, and shorter lengths. No worries! Why not try a Maxi?

It’s the perfect time of the year to try a maxi dress. Maxi dresses and skirts will continue to be a strong trend this spring and summer. I know what you are thinking, and NO you are not too short to wear a maxi dress. The key to wearing longer lengths is in the cut, style, and fit of the dress. I know I’ve said it before but keep your tailor or seamstress on speed dial. A $20 dress that fits perfect will look like a $100 dress with a some minor alterations.

In the collage below, I picked a few of my favorite maxi dresses that you can wear this weekend! One of my favorite online retailers is Piperlime. Piperlime has a large selection of clothing, shoes, and accessories for women and men. They feature all the latest styles and brands, without going over the top with trends. They have casual and dressy styles, while emphasizing classic wardrobe staples. The online retailers inventory is a perfect combination of moderate and better designer collections, mixed with affordable, quality fashion, by brands from NY to LA.

Happy Shopping!
