New Year’s Eve looks…

As we approach a brand New Year, the team here at BDG consisting of myself and my  husband ( who was kind enough to shoot the pictures of the looks I styled for you) have put together a couple of looks perfect for any NYE soiree.

For The Hostess: She loves to throw a party & always has confetti on hand.

As the hostess for the evening you are the party maker. All of your guests will look to you to direct the flow of the party. So make sure to choose an outfit that is festive, simple, and chic. Hosting a party can be stressful because it’s hard work prepping and timing the nights festivities. One way to impress your guests and throw a stellar party, is  to dress the part. Choose a dress appropriate for the setting and dress code per the invite. But, remember you are the hostess, so don’t be afraid to get dolled up.

For this look, I was inspired by the chic cocktail parties of the 1960’s. That Era when you dressed for dinner, the cocktail of choice was the Manhattan, and smoking was still cool. Channeling that vibe, I paired a chic turquoise mini dress with festive hair & make-up, and layered on sparkling baubles to complete my look.

The Socialite: She loves a Glitz & Glamour event and never misses the opportunity to throw on a sequin dress and dance the night away with her hubby.

In keeping with the 1960’s theme I slipped into this glamorous sequin shift from Dallin Chase and Steve Madden glitter heals.

I added heavy kohl liner for a Bardot sex kitten cat eye, simple stud earrings, and a rose gold cuff from Kendra Phillip to complete this look. And pinned my ginger locks up into a faux bob.

Wishing you a very Stylish Happy New Year…CHEERS!
