Summer in the City…

Last weekend I spent three fun-filled days in New York City visiting friends from Brooklyn to the Bronx! It is always fun visiting my friends, but, yikes…was it warm on the subway. I guess because I haven’t lived in the city for many years, I tend to forget how sticky it can get in the summer, especially in August. Fortunately, once you are above ground there’s a nice breeze or air condition wherever you’re travels take you!

Check out a few pics from my latest visit and some of my favorite places to shop, eat and hangout while I’m in town! What are your favorites?

1. Museum Stop…

I always include a trip to a museum when I’m in town. The city offers a variety of museums for just about any preference and age. From The Metropolitan Museum of Art, to the New York Transit Museum in Brooklyn, there’s something for everyone.
